A roof is an essential and arguably the most important element of any building’s durability and longevity. At MetaLite, we know that the quality of a building’s roof is key to the preservation of a buildings structural integrity and we use only the best and highest quality material available on the market.
Every roof panel from MetaLite starts with a steel core, coated on both sides with zinc, through the process of hot galvanization. This zinc coating has a dual function, it effectively prevents the degradation of the steel core from moisture, while also preventing rust. After the zinc coating, metal roofing products are coated with several layers of primer and paint applications in a variety of colours to suit each client’s individual needs.
With this multiple-layer construction, METALITE ensures that its roofing products can resist natural environmental factors and withstand wear and tear for an extended period. The final product is highly durable and outperforms inferior roofing products available on the market.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
PRECISE PRODUCTION
The manufacturing process begins with the selection of high-quality steel coils. These coils are unwound and cut into sheets, which are then shaped into specific tile profiles using specialized machinery. Following this, the tiles undergo hot-dip galvanization, where they are coated with a layer of zinc to further increase durability and prevent rust. After galvanization, the tiles receive multiple layers of primer and paint to provide a variety of color options and additional protection against the elements. Each batch undergoes rigorous quality control testing to ensure compliance with industry standards for strength and finish. Once approved, the tiles are carefully packaged for transport, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition at their destination.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
Each roof panel from MetaLite begins with a steel core, which is coated on both sides with zinc through hot galvanization. This zinc layer serves two purposes: it protects the steel core from moisture and prevents rust. Following the zinc coating, the metal roofing products receive multiple layers of primer and paint in various colors to meet each client’s specific requirements. And why steel? Because, it’s extremely durable, eco-friendly and energy efficient. All this to manufacture the metal roofing your property deserves.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
METICULOUS TESTING
We subject our metal roofing products to comprehensive testing at UL, the largest independent testing laboratory in the world. This meticulous evaluation enables us to confidently guarantee the superior quality of our materials, showcasing outstanding resistance to fire (Class A), high winds (Class 90), and extreme weather (Class 4).
OUR COATINGS
The finishing process metal roofing begins with multiple layers of primer . Following this preparation, the steel passes through a series of rollers that form the necessary ribs and cut the sheets to the required length. The modular shapes created during this process simplify future installation.
ADVANTAGES
-
Metalite metal roofs reflect heat away from buildings, making them highly energy-efficient roofing materials. Homeowners typically save between 7% to 15% on energy with a "cool" metal roof system. A study funded by the U.S. Department of Energy demonstrated annual savings of 25% on cooling costs.

-
Metalite metal roofs are considered eco-friendly due to several factors. Unlike asphalt shingles, which contribute significantly to environmental problems with their non-recyclable materials containing toxic substances like asbestos, lead, cadmium, and PAHs, metal roofs are highly recyclable at the end of their lifespan. This recyclability reduces waste and environmental impact.
-
Metalite is a metal roofing manufacturer focusing on innovation. The pre-drilled holes and modular assembly speed up roofing installation and reduce risk associated with it. Metal roofing tiles we manufacture average less than 5% waste during metal home roof installation compared to industry norms greater than 10%.
